Josef MARZI (born 1974)

Marzi is a Melbourne-born Artist of Italian parentage. Based primarily in Melbourne, he has travelled extensively throughout Europe, organising and participating in local and international exhibitions. Marzi is represented in Australian, Italian and Belgian collections.

A self-taught artist from an early age with a natural facility for illustration, Marzi chose the school of life over that of art. He draws his inspiration from a personal technique developed through thought and practical process over time and space.

The Artist’s fusion of photography, paint and construction material has developed over years. The result combines traditional realism with the essence of Marzi’s personal application.
